Some sad news...

So its been a while since I have blogged or even worked for that matter! I've been having a bit of a bad time of it recently to say the least. Saturday 21st September 2013 will be a day I always remember. I was eight weeks pregnant and lost my baby due to an advanced ectopic pregnancy. My fallopian tube had ruptured and I was bleeding internally. Luckily for me I was in the right place at the right time (mostly by coincidence) and I was risked into emergency surgery which undoubtedly saved my life. Unfortunately the doctors had to remove my left tube as it was too badly damaged.

I am just so thankful for the little girl I already have Emilia Rose born 23-01-2011 and my lovely husband Ashley. My family have been great, especially my mum! taking it in turns to watch my little one while I recover. I am taking it one day at a time but wanted to ease myself back into the world of design with this post.

I do believe everything happens for a reason and I am just so grateful to still be here, and still be a mum to my daughter. I always wanted a near death experience but not quite like this! I wanted to know I was 'near death' to see if my life would flash before my eyes! (it didn't!) Saying one thing though its really made me stop, think and appreciate everything I do have.

So if your having a tough week just remember to look at all the great things in your life, and make the most of them.
